Motorsport Manager PC is a sports team simulation game. Players' main role is to meet the expectation of the chairman who asks for the team to be at least at a certain position by the end of season. Players have to manage drivers and car staff members and are also involved with making decision for car improvement and dilemmas.
The most crucial role of players is the race management. The race is separated into three phases: Practice, Qualification and Race. During the practice session, players are responsible for fine tuning the car to adapt its performance to the track features. For the qualification, drivers are given one or more sessions to set their fastest lap time, which is used to determine the grid order for the race. The race involves managing pit stops to switch worn-out tires and parts as well as refueling the car. The pit stops need to be well-tailored suit your car's and drivers' profile in order to win the race. Player can also decide aggressiveness of driving tactics which, in turn, affect the car and tyre condition as well as fuel usage. Thus, each level of aggressiveness affects your car's part condition, which in fact may require part fixes later during the race.
